Optima Tennis is run by Steve Garbutt at & is based at Lymm Tennis Club in Cheshire. Optima organises the comprehensive Tennis Devlopment Programme at the club which has over one hundred junior players. There are also regular adult coaching sessions through the week & on Saturday afternoon. All the coached sessions run throughout, even in the depths of winter!

Children who are very keen & able can be fast tracked onto a subsidised programme of coaching that gives them a great  opportunity to fulfil their potentiall. Please go to 'Juniors' on the main menu for further details.

Optima runs Tennis Camps throughout most school holidays for children aged between four & sixteen. All Camps run from 9.30-1.00pm. You can book for any number of days or for the full week. Go to 'Juniors' & click on 'Camps' for more details.

Tournaments & competitive events for all ages & standards are organised throughout the year. For the really young players there is Mini Tennis that uses a colour coding system to divide the age groups. In Cheshire therse groups are split into Slams (attracting  the best players in the age group), Masters (mixed ability), &  Fun Challenges (inexperienced/beginner). Box leagues are organised at clubs to offer good competition in a friendly & familiar environment.
